Game Boy games were a revolution when the console released in 1989. Before Game Boy games arrived, portable gaming wasn't really a thing — sure, there were machines like the Game & Watch, but they were nothing compared to the well-crafted and thoroughly entertaining Game Boy games. It's astonishing that Game Boy games were capable of delivering such an incredible catalogue when they didn't even have any colour!
